The information generated about your use of this website (e.g. pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, device and browser) is generally transmitted to and stored by Google.
IP truncation & pseudonymisation
Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses within the EU/EEA before they are passed on to Google; full IP addresses are not stored by default. The evaluation is based solely on pseudonymous usage profiles and is not merged with your identity.
Legal basis & international transfer
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis and needs-based improvement of our offering pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Personal data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google bases this transfer on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and its certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Retention & opt-out
The event data collected by Google Analytics 4 is automatically deleted after 2 months by default. You can prevent the collection of your data by disabling cookies in your browser or by installing the browser add-on provided by Google to opt out of Google Analytics (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
